RADO as he’s old, he met the death. He was a Malagasy Cultur’s idol. So, there is a lot of people crying. Rado is missing in their heart. Ho an’ny izay Gasy mamaky an’ity: Tsy adino Rado e!

I really love Rado’s poems. I won’t cry as I know that He will remain forever in my heart, in Malagasy’s heart through his wonderful and great work.

i discovered Rado only few years ago (french schools are not very good at teaching you at Malagasy High Litterature) but I’m feeling very relieved that Youth in Madagascar cherish our authors and respect their work this way.

Rado est mort!
C’est bien triste.
je voie qu’il n’y a plus de vrais poète à Madagascar depuis qu’il nous a quitté. Nous n’avons plus que de personne qui écrit, mais qui n’écrit rien. Je cite parmi tant d’autre Ny Eja; est-ce une poête? J’ose pas penser. Elle se veut en être mais elle ne l’est pas, et elle ne le sera jamais.
Toutefois, on a quelques qui ont la moyenne si on peut les noter: DI (RAHAINGOSON Henri, …)
Les malgaches devront faire des efforts pour en avoir des poètes tel que Rado.
